The “Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of Turkmenistan on the Main Directions for the Development and Deepening of Economic Cooperation” has been approved, APA reports.
President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree in this regard.
By another decree, the “Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of Turkmenistan on Cooperation in the Field of Defense” has also been approved.
At the same time, the “Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of Turkmenistan on Cooperation in the Field of Energy” has been approved by a relevant decree.
In addition, by another decree of the President, the “Protocol between the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan on Cooperation in the Field of Customs Statistics of Mutual Trade” has also been approved.
Furthermore, by another decree, the “Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of Turkmenistan on Cooperation in the Field of Food Safety” has been approved.
Note that each of the Agreement, Protocol and Memoranda was signed in Baku on June 22, 2026.
