President Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev regarding the parliamentary elections held in the country, APA reports.
The letter reads:
"Dear Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich,
I extend my sincerest congratulations to you and your brotherly people on the successful holding of the first elections to the new parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Qurultay.
I express my confidence that this significant event, which marks the beginning of a new historical chapter in Kazakhstan’s socio-political life, will contribute to advancing your country’s comprehensive development, supporting the continuation of your large-scale reforms, and ensuring the successful implementation of the tasks ahead. I wish the Qurultay every success.
Advancing relations with Kazakhstan, with which we are closely bound by common roots, national-spiritual values, and brotherly ties, holds special importance for us. Our active and fruitful political dialogue has provided a strong impetus to further strengthening the Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan strategic partnership and enriching it with new substance.
