A unified cybersecurity platform will be established to ensure an effective and coordinated response to incidents across the Republic of Azerbaijan, APA reports.
This is reflected in the “Action Plan for 2026–2028 on Accelerating Digital Development in the Republic of Azerbaijan,” approved by an Order signed by President Ilham Aliyev.
According to the order, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the State Security Service, the Special State Service for Communication and Information Security of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and other relevant state bodies (institutions) will establish a unified cybersecurity platform by December 2026 to ensure an effective and coordinated response to incidents nationwide.
By identifying the needs for establishing a unified cybersecurity platform in the sector the formulation of technical requirements, the identification of forms of cooperation between state bodies (institutions), the private sector and civil society institutions, the creation of a single cybersecurity platform, and the implementation of integration between state bodies (institutions), the private sector and civil society institutions should be ensured.
