Abdulayev said all pipelines of Azerbaijan are available and everything is good.

“Regarding Supsa pipeline, this is political issue of Georgia. We don’t interfere political issue. Technically all our pipelines are ready for it”.

Georgian Deputy Prime Minister Kakha Kaladze told Georgia’s Public Television that in existence of any threat to Baku-Supsa pipeline, the government will launch alternative project: “The matter is about construction of a new part in the length of 1,500-1,600”.

Georgia claims that the Russian military forces have moved the occupation line in Tskhinvali region some hundreds of meters inside Georgia, seizing part of Baku-Supsa pipeline operated by BP.

According to him, problems on Baku-Supsa have been occurring since 2008: “BP cannot control over 1.5 km-part of the pipeline since august war. Because this site is under control of Russian militants. If any problem occurs further, we have 1,600 –m- alternative project. Georgian government was offered to agree with the Ossetians”.

“They want to politicize this issue. However, this is unacceptable for Georgia”, Kaladze said.
