Baku. Malahat Najafova – APA. Participants of mediaforum held in Armenia on March 18-23 have visited Nagorno Karabakh illegally. APA reports quoting kavkaz-uzel.ru website that 30 participants of forum dedicated to the 100th anniversary of so-called “Armenian genocide” have carried out three-day tour to Azerbaijan’s occupied lands. As a part of visit, they met with the leadership of eh separatist regime and visited museums, factories.
The journalists participating in the illegal visit include Elena Dumitru from Romania’s Adevarul newspaper, Alexander Kolesnichenko from Russia’s Argumenti i Fakty newspaper, Monika Khorsakova from Czech radio.
Spokesman for the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Hikmet Hajiyev told APA that relevant measures will be taken in relation to the journalists who illegally visited the occupied territories: “The illegal visit of the journalists to the occupied territories without the consent of the Azerbaijani state means the violation of the Law “On State border” of Azerbaijan. The foreign ministries of most world countries have issued warning on refraining from such illegal visits. Those who visited occupied territories should consider their own safety. Along with the state of war, human trafficking, arms smuggling, drug production and transit, terrorist training and other illegal activities are carried out in those territories.”
