"The Azerbaijani Army is interested in most of the weapons displayed at the Saha Expo exhibition in Turkiye. We already have contracts," said Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, APA reports.
The Minister said several contracts had already been signed.
"We review and hold discussions. I want especially to note that Turkiye has done great work in the production of weapons over recent years, which makes us happy," Zakir Hasanov stressed.
The minister also said that a number of works were carried out on applying of "Turkiye model" in the Azerbaijan Army: "We have done most of the works. The organization and status structure has changed, and the system, mainly management, has changed. It has been applied successfully. It was also shown in the last battles."
