"If you want peace, prepare for war," Commander of the Army Corps, Major General, Hero of the Patriotic War Kanan Seyidov said in an interview with APA while answering the question "What does a peace mean for an Azerbaijani officer?"
"As a general of the Azerbaijani Army, I can say that the strength of our Army must always be high, we should be vigilant and shouldn't be careless," he added.
Mr. Seyidov said in the last 200 years of history, Azerbaijan has not succeded such a great victory: "Under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, the greatest dream of our people has come true. Our victory has raised the spirits of our society, especially among the younger generation, and increased the love for the Motherland and our ancestral lands. We must always overestimate and promote the courage and bravery of the heroic sons, who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland. It is our glorious history."
