Currently, the Turkish Armed Forces keep supporting the modernization and training of the Azerbaijani Army, and the activities of search and elimination of mine and explosive ordnance in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, said an official of the National Defense Ministry of Türkiye, APA's Istanbul correspondent reports.
The Ministry expressed its confidence that the Caucasus region will take firm steps towards the future in peaceful conditions: "We hope that Armenia will hold the extended hand of peace, we reiterate our support for sincere efforts to establish permanent peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia. We will support our Azerbaijani brothers in sorrow and joy with the concept of "two states, one nation" in their rightful work, as we have done so far, and will continue to do so with all our capabilities".
