Noted that U.S. Chargé d'Affaires Hugo Guevara met with Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan - ANAMA instructors at ANAMA's Goygol Regional Center to discuss upcoming U.S.-led training with mine detectors for explosive ordnance disposal.
"The U.S. provides technical support for demining operations and the clearance of deadly landmines and unexploded ordnance. These efforts play a critical role bolstering human security and enabling displaced communities to return to their homes and rebuild their lives safely," noted in the information of the Embassy.
