Events on the 103rd anniversary of the establishment of Azerbaijan's security organizations have been held, press service of the State Security Service told APA.
On March 28, Chief of the State Security Service Colonel-General Ali Naghiyev, members of the board and management of the Service visited the grave of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in the Alley of Honors and laid a wreath at the tomb of the genius. The memory of the Great Leader's lifelong friend, prominent ophthalmologist-scientist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva was also commemorated, and flowers were laid at her grave.
Delivering a speech Head of State Security Service Colonel General Ali Naghiyev has expressed certainty that no force can turn Azerbaijan away from the path it has chosen, all threats and attempts targeting national interests of the country will also be resolutely prevented by personnel of SSS under leadership of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev from now on, sustainable peace and welfare will be provided in the country.
