During the last period of November, 25 hectares distance of the liberated area of the Azerbaijani-Iranian border from the occupation has been cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance by the Engineering and fortification units of the SBS, and as a result, 38 PMN-2 anti-personnel mines have been detected and neutralized through blasting method, the press service of the State Border Service told APA.
In this direction, the installation of engineering fences at a distance of 1230 meters along the state border has been completed, works are underway at a distance of 1300 meters.
