"At the beginning of this year, the President of Somalia visited Azerbaijan and signed a memorandum of understanding covering very important areas," Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia Abdisalam Abdi Ali said at a joint press conference with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, APA reports.
He stated that the Azerbaijani government facilitates the arrival of Somali students to Azerbaijan: “We are currently conducting exploration of natural resources. Our students will gain more education here so that we can carry out this work well. At the same time, we have extensive cooperation in defense and security. Earlier this year, a delegation came to Azerbaijan to expand this cooperation.”
