The Russian Federation's border guard ship "Rasul Hamzatov" arrived in the port of Baku on a visit, the Press Center of the State Border Service told APA.
In accordance with the Action Plan between the State Border Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Border Service of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, the "Rasul Hamzatov" border guard ship of the Coast Guard of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation arrived in the port of Baku on September 23 as part of the event of mutual visits of border guard ships of the coast guard agencies of the border services of Azerbaijan and Russia.
The visit included events held by the Azerbaijani and Russian delegations between the border guard agencies of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation, an exchange of views on the current operational situation in the Caspian Sea, a discussion of the results of mutual relations during joint operational-preventive measures, as well as clarification of the exchange of information between the border representation offices.
During the visit, it is planned to hold a friendly football match between representatives of the Azerbaijani and Russian Coast Guards at the “Sarhadchi” Sports Center, and to visit the border guard ships of the parties on a mutual basis.
As part of the cultural events, the guests will visit the “Heydar Aliyev Center” and the “Ateshgah Temple” State Historical and Architectural Reserve, as well as familiarize themselves with the cultural and historical monuments of Baku.
