The remains of Murshud Nadir oghlu Narimanov, a martyr who went missing during the First Karabakh War, have been handed over to his family, APA’s Mil-Mughan bureau reports.
A farewell ceremony for martyr serviceman Murshud Narimanov was held at the house where he was born and raised in Mazrali village of Imishli district.
The ceremony was attended by the martyr’s family members, representatives of the District Executive Authority, law enforcement officers, servicemen, war veterans and members of the public.
A funeral prayer was performed. The remains of the martyr were laid to rest in the Mazrali village cemetery accompanied by a military orchestra and a gun salute.
It should be noted that Murshud Narimanov was born on May 5, 1963, in Mazrali village of Imishli district. He took part in battles during the First Karabakh War and went missing on January 26, 1994, during military operations in the territory of Garvand village of Aghdam district.
