The remains of the fallen soldiers who went missing during the First Karabakh War — Rafael Sultan Abbasov, Aliyar Farrukh Aliyev, Azer Ziredin Bayramov, and Ilham Imdad Mehdiyev- have been handed over to their families, APA reports.
A farewell ceremony for the martyrs was held today.
Following the farewell ceremony, the remains of the martyrs were laid to rest at the “Dada Gorgud” Alley of Martyrs in the Surakhani district.
Note that Rafael Abbasov, Aliyar Aliyev, and Azer Bayramov went missing in the city of Shusha on May 8, 1992, while Ilham Mehdiyev went missing in the city of Khojaly on February 26, 1992.
