Changes and cancellation procedure in the entry into force, the validity period of the Memorandum of Understanding “On the "Caucasian Eagle" Special Forces training of Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Georgia " has been determined, APA reports.
It has been reflected in the draft law "On approval of the Memorandum of Understanding “On the "Caucasian Eagle" Special Forces training among the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Government of the Republic of Turkey, and the Government of Georgia".
According to the draft, in order memorandum of understanding to enter into force, the sides notify the Depositary in a written form about completion of legal procedures within state. This Memorandum of Understanding will enter into force on the date of receipt of the last written notification by the parties through diplomatic channels that they have completed the internal legal procedures necessary for its entry into force. The memorandum of understanding remain in force for one year, and in case if one of the parties does not notify the other in a written form about its cancellation through diplomatic channels 30 days before the expiration of the Memorandum of Understanding, then it will automatically be extended for the next one year. This Memorandum of Understanding is terminated 30 days after the date of receipt of the notification.
