MoD: Azerbaijan responded to Armenia's terrorist acts on the battlefield

"Azerbaijan responded to the war crimes and terrorist acts committed by Armenia on the battlefield," said Lieutenant Colonel Rashad Ahmadov, Deputy Head of the Department of Cooperation with International Organizations and Western Countries of the Department of International Military Cooperation of the Ministry of Defense, at the event dedicated to the 2nd anniversary of attacks on Ganja during the 44-day war in the Center of Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center), APA reports.

He said that the Armenian side, targeting civilians, tried to create fear and panic in Azerbaijan and deter the Azerbaijani Armed Forces from the battlefield.

"The Armenian side, which lost its tactical advantage in the war and was defeated, committed war crimes and terrorist acts not to accept the number of casualties, while the Azerbaijani side responded to these crimes on the battlefield," said the Ministry of Defense official.
