"Increasing domestic production is important to us," Samir Aghababayev, Head of the Office of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense Industry, said at a press conference dedicated to the ADEX and Securex Caspian exhibitions, APA reports.
He stated that various innovations, including reconnaissance, artillery, and other weapons systems, will be showcased at this year's exhibitions: "There are some innovations, and it is more appropriate to see them on site. We prioritize the development of new technologies. Wars are now being conducted in different forms. Certain steps are being taken in the defense industry to address this. We need to adapt to the times," he said.
