"We have defined the directions of our joint activities. We discussed the planned activities of the Azerbaijani and Turkish Armed Forces," Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov said at a joint press conference with Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar, APA reports.
He stressed that there is much work to be done after the 44-day war.
"On the instructions of our President, we are carrying out reforms to harmonize the Azerbaijani Armed Forces with the Turkish Armed Forces. The Turkish Armed Forces have great support for Azerbaijan in this direction. We have come a long way in this regard, "he said.
