Chief warrant officer Elnur Rustamov, a military serviceman of the Azerbaijani Army who martyred as a result of provocation committed by Armenia on the state border was laid to the rest, APA's North bureau reports.
Body of the martyr was brought to the Khachmaz region.
He was laid to the rest in the Abilyatagi village of the region.
His family members, relatives, employees of the Ministry of Defense, the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription, Khachmaz District Executive Power, representatives of the district community and local residents took part in the funeral ceremony. Prays were read to the soul of the martyr and the "Martyrs will not die, the Motherland will not be divided!" motto was sounded out.
