As part of his visit to Turkiye, Georgian Defense Minister Juansher Burchuladze held a tripartite meeting with Azerbaijan's Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov and Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar in Kars, said Georgian Ministry of Defence, APA’s Tbilisi correspondent reports.
It was noted that the defence ministers discussed cooperation issues in the spheres regional development and defence: “The meeting drew attention to the importance of joint military training and exercises, which bring the military of all three countries closer to each other and strengthen mutual operational capabilities. The importance of the tripartite cooperation format in the field of defense, which serves the security and stability of the region, was noted,” reads the information of the Ministry.
