At the invitation of the head of the State Border Service, Colonel-General Elchin Guliyev, the delegation led by the head of the Latvian State Border Guard, General Kuntis Pujats, paid an official visit to Azerbaijan on June 19-22, SBS told APA.
It was noted that the guests visited the grave of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in the Alley of Honor, laid a wreath in front of it, and expressed their respect and reverence for the spirit of the National Leader.
Also, flowers were laid on the graves of the sons of the Motherland who died for the independence of Azerbaijan in the Alley of Martyrs.
