According to the instruction of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, 20 pieces of mechanical mine clearing equipment were purchased from Turkey, said Chief of the Engineering Troops Department of the Ministry of Defense, Major General Anar Karimov, APA reports.
He noted that the next batch of this equipment has been brought to our country: “Courses have been organized again in this regard. Previously brought equipmements have been involved in the clearance of mines in the liberated territories.”
