HAVELSAN plans to expand cooperation with Azerbaijan

Turkish company HAVELSAN plans to expand its cooperation with Azerbaijan, HAVELSAN CEO Mehmet Akif Acar said in a statement to APA's Türkiye bureau.

He noted that HAVELSAN’s new-generation management system “KOVAN” has been exported to Azerbaijan: “The system has been deployed at the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense and covers the areas of logistics and personnel management. The project is expected to become fully operational in the near future.”

The company official noted that HAVELSAN plans to expand its cooperation with Azerbaijan: “In particular, work is underway on joint production projects in the field of military simulators and training systems, with Turkish and Azerbaijani engineers expected to work together. In addition, the project related to the implementation of the ‘ADVENT’ combat management system in the Azerbaijani Navy is also ongoing.”
