A representative of the Oklahoma National Guard visited Azerbaijan on November 4–6, US Embassy in Azerbaijan stated on X account, APA reports.
"Building on two decades of strong partnership, a delegation from the Oklahoma National Guard visited Azerbaijan November 4-6 to continue advancing bilateral cooperation under the State Partnership Program. This visit reaffirmed their shared commitment to regional security, peace, and stability, while deepening collaboration in cyber-defense, medical readiness, disaster response, and professional military education. Since 2002, the Oklahoma–Azerbaijan partnership has exemplified how close cooperation can not only strengthen defense ties, but also foster mutual understanding and trust between nations," the embassy's statement says.
