After the 44-day War, more than 10,000 anti-personnel and more than 3,000 anti-tank mines were discovered in the liberated territories, said Colonel Anar Eyvazov, head of the Press Service of the Ministry of Defense, during a joint briefing of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense, APA reports.
He said that the disarmament process is still underway in those areas and new weapon warehouses are being discovered.
"Until September 19, weapons continued to be illegally transported to these areas without registration. "The Armenian armed forces trained civilians on the use of drones for military purposes, in order to use these drones to attack the military and civil infrastructure of Azerbaijan," Anar Eyvazov said.
