Criminal case opened due to a fact that Azerbaijani soldier was injured by Armenians

The Gubadli military prosecutor's office has been informed that soldier Abdullayev Huseyn Arif, a military officer serving in military unit No. N of the Ministry of Defense, has sustained an injury due to enemy gunfire, the General Prosecutor's Office told APA.

Based on the information received, employees of the Gubadli military prosecutor's office received explanations, relevant work was completed in collaboration with the Criminalistics and Information Technologies department of the Military Prosecutor's Office, and other actions were taken.

According to the fact, a criminal case was opened in the Gubadli military prosecutor's office under Article 29,120.2.12 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan (attempt to commit murder with the intent of national, racial, religious enmity or hostility), witnesses were interrogated, relevant experts were appointed, and necessary investigative actions were immediately carried out.

The inquiry is now ongoing, and all actions will be done in compliance with the requirements of the legislation as well as generally accepted standards and principles of international law.
