Complete disarmament of illegal Armenian armed detachments in Karabakh is inevitable - Azerbaijani military expert

"Despite the celebration of Eid al-Adha in Azerbaijan and negotiations on a peace treaty with the support of the U.S. in Washington, illegal armed detachments in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan resorted to another provocation and the positions of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces were subjected fire. As a result, as reported, one serviceman was injured," said Adalat Verdiyev, Azerbaijani Military Expert, APA reports.

Adalat Verdiyev noted that as a result of the retaliatory measures of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, 5 members of the illegal armed detachments were neutralized: "The purpose of this provocation was to undermine the peace treaty negotiations in Washington.

The presence of illegal armed detachments in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan is a source of serious danger. The complete disarmament of these illegal armed detachments is inevitable. The existence of these illegal armed detachments, which are a source of terrorism, will not be allowed in the territory of Azerbaijan".
