Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan – Commander of the Land Forces, Colonel General Hikmat Mirzayev, who is on an official visit to Türkiye, visited the 6th Corps and Şəhid Mehmet Border Police Department in Kilis Çıldıroba together with the Commander of the Turkish Land Forces, General Selcuk Bayraktaroğlu, and the Special Forces Command, APA reports citing Turkish Ministry of National Defense.
It was reported that General Bayraktaroğlu provided information on the development of increased military cooperation and coordination between the Turkish and Azerbaijani Land Forces Commands, as well as weapons and systems, and highlighted the experiences gained in operational areas.
