Command and staff exercises were held as part of the joint military exercises "The Power of Unity - 2026," held in our country with the participation of military personnel from Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan, Ministry of Defense told APA.
During the exercises, which were aimed at improving the staff operations of participating units, including commanders' decision-making and unit management skills, activities were carried out to deploy and position staff headquarters in designated areas, as well as camouflage and organize operations.
In accordance with the exercises' scheduled episodes, commanders assessed and analyzed the evolving situation and made decisions at the Gizylgaya training centers in the Khojavend district and the Karabakhlar training center in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, as well as at the Boyuk-Zira training ground in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea.
The exercises focused on enhancing the effectiveness of interaction between military personnel from the participating countries in the joint execution of assigned tasks.
