A scientific-practical conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Azerbaijan's accession to the Framework Document of NATO's Partnership for Peace (PfP) program was held in Baku on November 26, APA reports.
During the event, views were exchanged on the history, current status and future prospects of our country's partnership with the Alliance, the achievements of the PfP program, our country's contribution to NATO-led peace support operations and ensuring energy security in the European region, and other topics arising from Azerbaijan's partnership with NATO.
The conference was attended by Anar Mutallimov, Acting Head of the Military-Political Affairs Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Burcu San, Assistant to the NATO Deputy Secretary General for Operations, members of academic circles in related fields from foreign countries, analysts, as well as representatives from local government agencies and relevant educational institutions.
