Firdovsi Abdullayev Mais, a soldier of the Azerbaijan Army, born in 2003, who went missing in the Lachin district near the border on March 3, 2022, has been buried in Ganja, APA's local bureau reports.
Firdovsi Abdullayev was laid to rest in the Alley of Martyrs in Ganja.
The funeral ceremony was attended by the First Deputy of the Goranboy District Executive Power Seymur Nazarov, the Head of the district department of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription of the Republic of Azerbaijan Hikmat Orujov, the Head of Ganja City Executive Power Niyazi Bayramov, leaders of law enforcement agencies, military personnel, veterans, and public representatives.
The Azerbaijani flag that was draped over Firdovsi Abdullayev's coffin was presented to his father. During the burial, the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played by a military orchestra, and a volley of shots was fired.
