Georgian, Turkish and Azerbaijani servicemen are participating in a basic-level summer training course at the Besik Kutateladze Sachkhere Mountain Training School, APA’s local bureau reports, citing the Georgian Ministry of Defence.
According to the ministry, the training is being conducted within the framework of trilateral military cooperation.
Practical exercises are being held at training grounds in the Sachkhere and Chiatura areas. Participants are learning and testing skills such as rock climbing, river crossing, overcoming obstacle courses, movement in high-altitude terrain, providing first aid to the wounded, evacuation, and night marches.
At the end of the three-week training course, participants will be awarded certificates and badges.
