The Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu made a phone call to the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, regarding the situation on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border, APA reports Defence Minister of Azerbaijan.
According to the Ministry, during the telephone conversation, Colonel-General Z. Hasanov said that the provocations committed by Armenia on the state border of the two countries were resolutely prevented.
Army General Shoigu expressed readiness to make efforts to stop military operations and stabilize the situation.
