According to the preliminary investigation, it is assumed that a member of the reconnaissance-sabotage group of the Armenian armed forces, who was detained on August 16 at around 11:15 thanks to the vigilance of the Units of the Azerbaijan Army is Voskanyan Gagik Ashotovich born in 1983, Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan told APA.
One RPK machine gun, ammunition, and military supplies were found during the detention. In his initial testimony, G.Voskanyan admitted his participation in the 44-day Patriotic War.
It should be noted that the slightly wounded Armenian saboteur was provided with first aid by the Azerbaijani military doctors.
