Azerbaijan's military attaché in Türkiye and embassy representatives visited the family of a serviceman who died in a C-130 plane crash, APA's Türkiye bureau reports.
The military attaché under the Embassy of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Türkiye, Hero of the Patriotic War, Major General Zaur Zeynalov, representatives of the Military Attaché's Office, and representatives of the Turkish Ministry of National Defense visited the family of the martyred pilot, Lieutenant Colonel Gökhan Korkmaz.
During the visit, a message of condolences from the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, was delivered to the martyr's family.
Note that in the coming days, visits are also planned to the families of the 20 servicemen who were martyred in a plane crash.
Recall that on November 11, a Turkish C-130 military transport aircraft flying from Azerbaijan to Türkiye crashed in Georgian territory. As a result of the crash, all 20 servicemen on board were killed.
