Joint practical exercises were conducted on the ships of the Naval Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan involving Azerbaijani and Turkish naval personnel, the Azerbaijan MoD told APA.
It was reported that the exercises involved the Ship Training Division of the Azerbaijani Naval Forces Training Center and the "Yıldızlar" training group from the Turkish Naval Forces Training Center.
The main goal of the exercises was to facilitate mutual exchange of experience in the field of naval operations between the two brotherly countries and to further improve the combat readiness of the personnel in this area.
