The cases where a citizen's right to leave the country to be restricted are increasing, this was reflected in the proposed amendment to the Migration Code, discussed at today’s meeting of the Milli Majlis (Parliament), APA reports.
Under the draft, if a citizen evades conscription for mandatory active military service or mobilization for military service, their right to leave the country will be restricted until a decision on conscription is made.
The draft law was put to a vote and passed on first reading.
