Azerbaijan sets new conditions for circulation of military equipment and weapons

Amendments have been made to the “Additional Conditions Required for the Circulation of Items with Restricted Civil Turnover Depending on the Nature of Activities,” APA reports.

Prime Minister Ali Asadov signed the relevant decision in this regard.

Under the decision, additional conditions have been established for the circulation (sale, import, and export) of combat-designated military equipment, military weapons, and ammunition. These conditions include the following, with respect to their sale (excluding imported combat-designated military equipment, weapons, and ammunition):

- the organization of the production process in accordance with the product’s technological documentation;

- compliance of technological and design documentation with the requirements of regulatory legal acts and standards;

- compliance of technical specifications with the requirements of regulatory legal acts and standards;

- provision of information on the names and descriptions of the stages of the production process carried out by the applicant.
