Azerbaijan produces new armored vehicle -PHOTO

Azerbaijan has produced ITX-20 H, APA reports.

According to the report, the equipment is being demonstrated for the first time at the Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition "ADEX-2024" held in Baku this year.

ITX-20 H is intended for MRAP class personnel transportation. The vehicle weighing 19.5 tons is equipped with armor. At the same time, the vehicle is equipped with a shooting tower. It ensures faster support and safe arrival for personnel. It should be noted that the equipment is fully resistant to anti-tank mines and machine gun fire.

Farid Abdullayev, manager of the demining project of "Improtex Group" LLC, told reporters that countries located in South Asia and South America are among the customers of these military armored vehicles.

He said that the priority of the company is first of all meeting of internal needs:

“These "ITX" brand armored vehicles, which we are the manufacturer of, should first be involved in 3-4 month tests. We also have a great interest in export. Because the defense industry itself is an important part of the economy. It is a developed sector with great export potential in Türkiye. We believe that Azerbaijan will develop day by day, month by month."
