Today is the anniversary of establishing the "Lachin" border checkpoint, the State Border Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan released information, APA reports.
It was noted that on April 23, 2023, in the sovereign territories of Azerbaijan, at the start of the Lachin-Khankandi highway, a state border checkpoint from the Lachin state border was established by the units of State Border Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The ceremony of raising the national flag of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held in the newly established border checkpoint and a report was made to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev from the state border checkpoint.
