The maximum age limit for conscripts in mandatory military service is being reduced in Azerbaijan, this is reflected in the proposed amendment to the Regulation on Military Service, which was put up for discussion at today's session of the Milli Majlis, APA reports.
Under the current law, the age limit for conscripts in the Azerbaijan Armed Forces for compulsory military service is 36.5 years.
According to the draft, this age limit will be reduced to 31.5 years.
The draft law was put to a vote and adopted on the third reading.
