The State Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing People has released information, the State Commission told APA.
On September 12-14 of this year, a large-scale provocation was committed by the Armenian armed forces on the Azerbaijan-Armenia border. The enemy side sustained a large number of casualties as a result of the retaliatory measures undertaken by our army.
The corpses of 32 Armenian servicemen found in the areas we took control of after military operations were reportedly examined by the relevant employees of the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan and had no evidence of violence on them. On September 17, those bodies were handed over to the other side.
Other Armenian soldier corpses are still being examined, and they will be given to the appropriate authorities soon.
