This year, the expenses for maintaining defense and national security, the judiciary, law enforcement agencies, and the prosecutor's office are 4 percent higher than the forecast for 2025, APA reports, citing the Ministry of Finance.
It was noted that 28.9 percent of the state budget expenditures for 2026, or 12 billion 53.9 million manats, are planned for the expenses for maintaining defense and national security, the judiciary, law enforcement agencies, and the prosecutor's office.
This is 465.6 million manats or 4 percent more than the forecast for 2025.
8 billion 717.6 million manats will be allocated for financing defense and national security, and 3 billion 336.3 million manats will be allocated for the maintenance of the judiciary, law enforcement and prosecutor's offices.
