An event has been held in Prosecutor General's Office on November 5 on the occasion of Victory Day - national holiday of our country which is a manifestation of restoration of territorial integrity, liberation of our eternal and historical territories, press service of the Prosecutor General's Office told APA.
Firstly, the leadership team of the Prosecutor General's Office has paid tribute to National leader Heydar Aliyev by placing flowers in front of the bust of the national leader of our people. At the event, after a minute's silence has been held in memory of the soldiers and civilians who died for the freedom of the homeland, Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev has congratulated the employees of the prosecutor's offices and our people on the occasion of the holiday.
It has been noted that the prosecutor's offices have identified the guilty persons for the war crimes, crimes against peace and humanity committed by the Armenian Armed Forces and brought them to responsibility within the framework of international legal norms, as well as continuing the relevant work in the direction of calculating the material damage caused to our country as a result of the occupation.
At the end, a documentary film dedicated to the 44-day Patriotic War has been demonstrated.
