Assistant to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Head of Military Affairs Department of Presidential Administration Colonel General Maharram Aliyev has paid a visit to the Autonomous Republic of Nakhchivan, APA reports.
Maharram Aliyev has visited the monument of National Leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev erected in the center of Nakhchivan city, laid a branch of flowers in front of the monument, and paid deep respect to the memory of the National Leader. In the Heydar Aliyev Museum in the city of Nakhchivan, he has viewed the exhibits reflecting the life of the National Leader and his multifaceted statehood activities.
A service meeting has been held with the participation of the Combined Arms Army, Combined Nakhchivan Brigade of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the "Nakhchivan" Separate Border Division of the State Border Service and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the leaders of troops and units, and reports have been heard.
