"90% of mine victims after the 2020 Patriotic War are men,” said Dragana Kojic, Head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Azerbaijan, during her speech at the round table on "Protection of persons with disabilities and landmine victims in Azerbaijan," APA reports.
According to her, ensuring assistance to mine victims should be on the agenda: “It has an impact on their families that men make up the majority of mine explosion victims following the conflict. We are ready for providing assistance to them and their families”.
