"So far, 115,000 hectares of liberated territories of Azerbaijan has been cleared of mines and unexploded military ordnances (UXO)," Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) Samir Poladov said, APA reports.
He noted that brother Türkiye's demining equipment are also used in the process. The Türkiye-produced robots have also been involved in the demining works in the territories liberated from occupation: "We are implementing new technologies. These are also the remote controlled robots, demining machines. Said equipment are used in the destruction of both anti-personnel and anti-tank mines."
