Journalists included in Media Register will be issued a journalistic card by the body determined by the relevant executive power, according to the law on Media, APA reports.
It has been reflected in the draft law "On Media" discussed at today's meeting of Milli Majlis at the first reading.
According to the draft, it is not cover foreign journalists working in the territory of Azerbaijan.
Foreign journalists should apply to the body determined by the relevant executive power, in order to operate in the territory of Azerbaijan.
They can operate after the consent of the body determined by the relevant executive authority. The validity date of the journalist card is 3 years.
