In order to promote Azerbaijani literature, including Azerbaijani academic literature, and to ensure its systematic translation and dissemination into the official languages of the United Nations, Turkic languages, and other languages, the “Azerbaijani Literature Abroad” project will be established, APA reports.
This is reflected in the “Azerbaijani Culture – 2040” Culture Concept of the Republic of Azerbaijan, approved by an order signed by Ilham Aliyev.
In addition, with the aim of developing Azerbaijan’s literary environment in line with the global literary landscape, facilitating the integration of the literary creation process into the publishing value chain, and benefiting from the experience of renowned foreign writers, the “Writers in Residence in Azerbaijan” project will also be established.
